Tailored AM ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
When you create an account and use Tailored AM, we collect:
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth)
- Preferences — your chosen segments, sports teams, market tickers, location (city and state), voice, tone, and delivery time
- Usage data — episodes generated, dates, duration, and whether episodes were played
- Payment information — billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your credit card number or payment details
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect exclusively to provide the Tailored AM service:
- To generate your personalized daily episode each morning
- To deliver your episode to Apple Podcasts via your private RSS feed
- To send you account-related emails (confirmations, password resets, episode notifications)
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To improve the quality and relevance of generated episodes
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with partners except as necessary to operate the service.
Your Episode Content
Your daily episode scripts are stored in our database for up to 30 days to power your episode archive. Audio files are stored in Cloudflare R2 secure storage. Your private RSS feed URL contains a unique token — only someone with that URL can access your episodes.
Third-Party Services
Tailored AM uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase — authentication and database (supabase.com)
- Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com)
- Cloudflare R2 — audio file storage (cloudflare.com)
- OpenAI — text-to-speech audio generation (openai.com)
- Anthropic — AI script writing (anthropic.com)
- Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com)
Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary with each service.
Data Retention
- Episode scripts are retained for 30 days then automatically deleted
- Audio files are retained for 30 days
- Account and preference data is retained for the lifetime of your account
- When you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 7 days
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of episode notification emails at any time

Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and row-level security on our database. Your private RSS feed URL acts as a secret token — treat it like a password and don't share it publicly.
Cookies
We use only functional cookies necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
Children's Privacy
Tailored AM is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of Tailored AM after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
